    Hey, hey, BA, happy Saturday. Im trying to catch up on my mountain of reviews, while adding more to the list. This is Bitter by Wild Bruce. Wild Bruce is an offshoot of Brekeriet, focusing more on traditional styles, like bitter, rather than wild and sour beer.

    So far, Fidens have lived up to all the hype, and also the cost. This is Harmony, a DIPA hopped with Citra, Strata and Simcoe and it is fucking amazing.

    Trying a Goose Island Tropical Beer Hug. It’s kind of just a standard DIPA with a simple piney hops taste marked up in tropical juice packaging on the label. This isn’t the first beer I’ve had where it seems like the brewer got lazy and just wanted to capitalize on the trend without making it actually fit the style.

    Pollyanna Sinister Soul 13.5% Imperial Stout aged in Whiskey Acres Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey barrels with vanilla and cocoa nibs added. (That's too many words.)
    Very much liking this elixir. Really nice barrel and adjunct integration that, with the whiskey and spice notes, stops short of being too sweet, and remains roasty, creamy, and delicious. Working on a NBW post and review.
