    Good day BAs! Thanks @DoctorZombies for starting today's thread. So far it looks like another nice day, but that can always change. Currently 60 F (16 C) and cloudy - Mrs Lizard has a quilting coven meeting later today so I hope it doesn't rain/snow/sleet/hail. I'll be picking up more branches and twigs that the recent series of high winds have brought down.

    Those bottles are crazy expensive but Yamazaki (or should I say, Suntory) offers sampling at a very reasonable price (but still crazy). Some of these bottles are essentially impossible to find in the market. Definitely recommended for any whiskey lover, if you can get here and get a reservation for the sampling room.

    ...outstanding that you got to do that...the closest I can get to whisky / whiskey like that is my last bottle of A.H. Hirsch 16-Year Reserve...but I'll be happy enough with a lot of the sub-$200 bottles (and usually sub-$100 bottles) of other good Japanese whiskys out there...

    Makes a nice sports drink with tasty malt sugars. Should bring more next time for that purpose.
