It's International Stout Day and Thor: The Dark World opens in theaters today!
Morning Blue Rogue. I just read in that book by randy mosher that beer tasters do their best work in the mid morning when their senses are at their sharpest. Guilt Free Friday!(morning) I have no stout today. Can I still sit witchu guys?
Starting light, Bell's Double Cream Stout.
FBS coming a lil later in the morn'.
First stout of the day
Since when have you not had a stout on hand?
I will gladly drink one for you today.
I started ISD 1 day early...for good reason: Deschutes Basecamp event at London Grill in Philly! Black Butte XXIV on draft (middle) and the reps brought a 2010 The Abyss (lower right). I got a really generous pour, too! Great bunch of people at LG and Deschutes. Awesome blues music that the boy really enjoyed. Came home with 2 tasting glasses, 2 pint glasses, 2 high quality bottle openers and 2 t-shirts...all courtesy of Deschutes.
Lower left was Chasing Freshies.
Guess I get to post this pic twice. Definitely need to break out a KBS.
I bought dubbels this month. Today I have this beer. I LOVE this and I want this every day. Beachwood's Melrose IPA. Thanks Jay O'Rear. Cheers BA!

Sierra Nevada Celebration...no explanation needed.
My first BCBS. And it's damn good.
It's slate stones in a metal frame. I like it very much because no one else has one like it around here anyways, and because one of the stones was imperfect so I got it on sale. It's also on wheels and has a rack underneath to store books and my afghan .
Drinking my favorite on national stout day. Even better at 10:30 in da morning...cheers!
yup, my brother has that same table. well, not the same one, you have that one, he has, well you know what i mean.
Great minds think alike Your brother has excellent taste in coffee tables.

Still celebrating Stanfords win over the Ducks thank you from a Seminoles Fan
Three Floyds Moloko Milk Stout I received from creepinjeeper. Thanks, man!
This for lunch.
Will report back with stouts later.
Great minds think alike. We discussed this yesterday...classic.
Let mine sit out for awhile as I sent out work emails. One of the benefits of outside sales, nobody wants to talk sales on Friday so I get to work from home and drink beers while getting paid
Beer review #488. Redd's Strawberry Ale.
