Saw this on the shelves finally, then got home and realized it's stout day, so I'm going to compromise and drink one in black & white.

On to a homebrewed IPA. I am supposed to be working, but my damn computer won't log in from home. Oh well.

 

Laid off for the winter..last day of work...was gonna drink a lot of IPA's..but since it's international Stout day...I decided to drink a few that were in the fridge...Bell's Java stout and Founders Breakfast Stout and My Homebrew Breakfast...which I'd wouldn't be embarrassed to share with anyone...It's awesome

That first sip was soooooo tart I thought it was infected Peruvian Morning for a second. It did settle down but it's certainly not a fav.

 

Happy stout day! Started off by having a 2012 Backwoods Bastard on draught which is NOT a stout, so I figured I needed to have some Breakfast Stout to celebrate properly

You wouldn't think it but this beer ages phenomenally. I've had it with 5 years on it and it was divine! When fresh, it's just OK to me.

 

I believe that's what they call Winning.
