    Hitachino Espresso Stout, which we find in a large supermarket in the next town. Best stout I can find in a 20km range around me, of course we have some French Stouts available too, but I’ve been disappointed in them more often than anything. The Japanese know the deal:

    Good day BAs! Thanks @RaulMondesi for starting us off today. @DoctorZombies - keep us posted on your daily locations - good things to know for us geography nuts.

    It's currently 39F/4C here on the tundra of NW PA with the weather guessers scheduling a sunny and 72F/22C afternoon. Looks like a mixed inside/outside work day.

    Barbar more regular beer is really great, now and as a first for me drinking Barbar Bok. Still flavored with honey, not overly so (not too sweet). 8,5% ABV.

    Crystal clear body, lightly gold colored; moderate carbonation presence; thick, billowing head, white and semi-creamy in texture. Mild nose; light fruity esters and mildly flora; cantaloupe. Well-balanced flavor; light biscuit backbone with a soothing hop bitterness; understated sweetness; lightly peppery hop flavor. Medium-heavy body; velvety smooth residual sugar feel; very light stickiness; hint of dryness offsetting the sweetness.

    This is a mighty fine west coast-style India pale ale. Incredibly balanced and very easy drinking.

    Clear, dark brown body; nice carbonation; thick head, light khaki; densely sudsy head, slightly rocky, creamy textured surface. Mild charred grain scent; toffee; earthy sweetness. Great dark grain flavor; mild bitter chocolate. Fairly light body; smooth; light astringency.

    A pleasant beer, easy to drink and bringing some nice dark beer flavors to the palate.
