I just found out that the house in Maine where I lived from 1961 to 1986 is on the market. My parents bought it for $28K, and it's listed at $1.195M. It has been extensively renovated; I had a tough time recognizing the interior. Wonder what it will sell for.
I am drinking beer and watching golf, two of my favorite activities.
    Cheers!

That was a sleeper of the week set for me, really well done. I'm not a big fan of cinnamon in stouts, but Cycle generally incorporates it well. Cheers!

I had a bunch songs with King in the title in mind, but then I decided to go with this King (no surprise).

From the looks of the WBAYDN threads, Sierra Nevada has a big hit with their new Summerfest Lager release. I know I enjoyed it. Cheers!

Getting a total body workout in early today. Digging holes and planting fruit trees out in our meadow. Two Honeycrisp Apples and one Flowering Crab.
It is beer break time for sure.

Here's a couple of beer drinking and cigar smoking heroes of my youth. The Crusher and Dick the Bruiser. The passing of Billy "Superstar" Graham got me waxing nostalgic. I saw them live, took on their old tag team nemesis Bockwinkle and Stevens, The Dolly Sisters as The Crusher used to call them.

Still in Phoenix, another pool beer, this is Juicy Jack, a very nice hazy from SanTan Brewing Company featuring Mosaic and Cashmere hops. I’d try this again in a minute.

(PostImage seems to be having issues rn)

    12oz bottle, best by 8.21.23

Poured at fridge temp into a tulip glass

Pours a deep coppery brown (and crystal clear clarity) with a 2 finger tan head. Quickly settled into a fair ring and loose cap. 4

Off the bottle I get lots of dark but fresh/ripe stonefruit, mostly plum, fig but also something brighter and sweeter... Dates maybe? Whatever it is it's awesome! 4

Chocolate malt is clear and gentle, deep ripe plum, and toasted grain. Slight alcohol warmth, but it's barely perceptible. 3.75

Full and chewy body, but not syrupy or too thick. Carbo is moderate and lingering grain + stonefruit is great. 4

Overall a delightful and well rounded/crafted beer, enjoyable warm or cold. 4
