    1) Une Anne Pils (4.8%): A German-style pilsner from the Chicago burbs with flavors of crisp lemon citrus, pale malts, yeasty and tart.
    versus
    2) Old Nation Rubikon (4.8%): An Italian-style Pilsner from Michigan with flavors of lemon and bread. Hoppy, lemony, and leans sweet. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Winner:
    2) Old Nation Rubikon:     Another midwest German Pils battle. Une Anne makes this one out of the Chicago burbs and do some good brews. This is a German Pils that is fantastic usually, but sometimes at a few months out it seems to get yeasty and start to spoil. Maybe they need to work on the sterilization or the consistency of the brewing process because this is the second year I've had this one a couple months out that has started to spoil. Old nation makes a good pilsner. Lemony, hoppy, and robust like an Italian Pilsner should be.

    Mrs. ATL6245 works at a local elementary school. She has the grade level over at the moment, after school. Wow, they are loud and noisy...and not drinking a drop of alcohol. I'm chilling in my office in the basement, trying to keep a low profile. :joy:

    Man Stone is good. This ones a doozy. Even if you're not much of a music aficionado you probably can guess where the hops come from...
    Bittrrrrrrr. Dry, crisp at the same time floral and fruity. Beautiful crystal clear amber/gold color. [​IMG]
