    No shit! I saw a clip of them live recently with the fill-in vocalist, and there's no question they took a major step backward when Riley left. Those are going to be very, very tough shoes to fill - if they want to keep clean vocals as a major part of their sound. If they go back to more straight tech death, there are plenty of dudes out there who can nail those growls (including their original vocalist), but the last three albums have prominently featured excellent cleans.

    They're on my list, for sure. The only shows I have upcoming now are BTBAM, and maybe Yob and Ghost.

    Happy Friday BAs! Thank you kindly MR. @AzfromOz for 3870. Yesterday got kind of pear-shaped but turned out well with having a BrassZilla band rehearsal in my garage. Nice weather and we don't use amplification. Had a few beers and at the end of the night very good constructive chats/beers. I had Summit Triumphant, Stone Delicious Double IPA and lastly a new local one: Venn Chronicopia DIPA. Wow is it tasty. Big melon, green, long linger. I think @defunksta would dig it if he hasn't had it already. I've 3 more tall boys of it. Anyways, sunny here, more landscaping: rocks and more beers! Sushi and Barrel Theory Shooter McGavin DIPA. World-class beer. Cheers!

    ...I never heard of the band but saw the 'Tyranny and Mutations' album at a record store and bought it because of the cool cover...then the band played in Marion, OH in support of that tour (maybe Secret Treaties - all I know is we were still in high school so it had to be '73 or '74)...I still remember the small venue, all five band members at one point playing guitar and the magical moment when Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom held their guitars high and rubbed the necks together...just an awesome concert experience back in the day...

    Happy Friday BA's!

    I don't know if any of you experience this, but it never seems to fail. The Friday before a holiday or vacation and stuff starts blowing up at work when things had been quiet most of the week. Sheez. Luckily had a 2pm close today. Anyway, felt like a Göller Dunkel would be a good way to start the weekend. It's a perfect 74°F and clear here in N. GA. Looking forward to vacation next week!

    Good start. MTRC has a little more grainy/biscuity flavor to the malt bill than some may like, but I kind of like that in a Helles. Prost!
