I'm thinking I just posted this. Dmt is crazy Every time I get on a good trip the past 2 days I'll have to piss so bad mid rip. Wtf mate.

No Pain No Gain IPA 6.5%- Celestial Beerworks/ Camp Gladiator

 

Hot Tub IPA ~ livin' that @russpowell life

 

1) Veltins Pilsner (4.8%): An authentic German Pilsner with flavors of faint flower, pale Munihc malts, and yeast. Clean and balanced.
versus
2) Rothaus Tannenzäpfle (5.1%): An authentic German Pilsner with flavors of grassy and earthy hops with a smooth and bready Munich bread malt. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Rothaus Tannenzäpfle: A great German Pilsner battle. Veltins is one of my favorites, but this one is over a year old so not as fresh as usual. Can tell by the fading floral notes that it usually has. First try at this one from Rothaus. Rated as one of the best on BeerAdvocate. It's grassy, earthy, and has a smoother malt presence. Sort of reminds me of Ayinger Pils (battle upcoming). Veltins is usually better when fresh, but for today's side-by-side This Rothaus one is pretty darn good.

 

Happy hump day ba. Into it here w/ Minus one + 2, galaxy/mosaic dipa, sand city. Pretty decent stuff with soft hops and subtle fruit notes. Not sweet at all but the finish does hit some definite off tones. Drinks fine but I doubt I’ll repurchase.

 

Nice to see you finally got to try rothaus. What is the bb date on the rothaus?
