The western leg of my summer trip is complete…I’m back at home in my West Virginia house…a beer on the side porch before I begin unpacking the camper - Torpedo Extra IPA:



Bitter WC goodness. Glad I had some beers stashed in the old homestead icebox.

I had a great trip, but I’m ready to rest and take a couple of weeks off from long (for me) driving days. I did get some phenomenal beers today in Indiana and Ohio. I was negligent in posting no haul pics this trip. I’ll try to pick up the pace with a shot of today’s haul in a bit…

My local Trader Joe’s only had this and Guinness as their Stouts. And it’s not bad, actually:

Like a moron I’ve been stuck home waiting for the ups to deliver the BA WCIPA box,,, it’s been raining like a mofo out, and truth be told I just relaxed all day, made a killer Mac and cheese that’s cooking right now, but fuck, I’m not 14 years old waiting for my next shipment from Columbia House Records club, and it’s not 1981!
