Miller Lite. Yes I know cheap but it was free and you don’t turn down free beer lol. Enjoying it with a steak and corn with my family. Dad is having an Edmund Fitzgerald Porter which is very good just I need to drink some of this free beer I got before it goes bad lol. Taking up a lot of space in the fridge.

 

Another chapter in "Food that I Hope Doesn't Suck." Jamaican jerk wings, Italian sausage and taters. And that pesky Hamms that seems to sneak into so many if these pics...Cheers!

 

Back to the haze, lol. But, gotta celebrate a Rickie win at the Rocket Mortgage with a most excellent beer.

Master Shredder. An IPA brewed by Veil. This is one of my favorite IPAs. I am glad Veil releases it a few times a year unlike most of their other brews.

 

And now....
the #2 real (new) beer for me.

Breakside's West Coast/Best Coast IPA (collab with Grains of Wrath Brewing)
7.1% of clean, impeccable, see-through(ish) IPA. I have no complaints... and I dedicate another classic 70s tune to this beer. Remember... "big boys don't cry..."

Picked up a Ninja Air Fryer … we are experimenting with lots of things right now.

 

We stayed at Duck about a half dozen times over the years. Ever eat and/or drink at the Sunset Grille or Blue Point?

Lately, we have been staying at the south end of OBX (Avon, Rodanthe, Waves, etc. The house where Nights in Rodanthe was filmed is still there unless Mother Nature decided to take it out to sea. We are, however, going to Duck in August.

If you are an oyster fan I can point you to the three or so places where I have done some serious oyster damage. Most are south of Duck.

 

We stopped today on the mainland for fresh Jersey corn and tomatoes to have with our brats, potatoes, baked beans, and seafood salad. I'm drinking a beer from home, Autodidact's Dream House. Cheers!
