What beer are you drinking now? #3923

Sip of Sunshine with a pan of 18 lobsters worth of meat.

 

Russian River Sanctification Sour Blonde dated 05/30/14. White grapes, brett and a musty wood finish. The slightly tart and dry feel make it perfect on another hot afternoon. I'd say it aged rather gracefully. Another RR from the stash bites the dust!

 

Having a great time, on the wife's schedule so hopefully catch up in September....cheers buddy!!

 

Public Lands. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing.

Not sure why I was skeptical about it when I bought the four pack but it is a pretty good beer. Got some bitterness at the end. Maybe it is the Idaho 7 hop.

 

Grand Prize beer was brewed in Houston from the early 30’s to the sixties. The grandson of the original brewmaster shared the recipe with New Magnolia Brewing,who brewed a batch they are calling Magnolia Grand Select. So I am enjoying “Grand Prize” beer in my vintage Grand Prize goblet.

 

Road Crew is delicious, and a great closer today.

Having a regular beer

 

Doing a combo pack in this post, which I don’t like to do in this wonderful thread, but I am working and drinking very good beers, which is exhilarating and a bit scary all at once.

The WCIPA is done (thanks to @Todd for curating such an excellent box) and a great “beer fridge IPA” for all beer nerds to enjoy if you can secure it, and the fantastic BA Moose Boots is still in my glass as I enjoy the beer nerd lifestyle.

I am the luckiest beer nerd on the face of the earth.

Having some Dragon's Milk Stout. Kinda living in a desert as far as variety goes, especially for stouts. There used to be a pretty cool craft store in N.O. but they went out of business. Sometimes I'd get lucky there and find a groovy 15% Imperial stout that tasted like a donut or whatever. Now most local places seem to have the same stuff. Well, somethin's better than nothin'. Rock on.
