Good Morning BAs! After a cleanse day, time for some coffee - Revolution’s “Deth By Currants”:

Canned 9/23/22. Poured at 54°. Chocolate tangy fruit. Purchased at the brewery in May 2023. A little more tart than I want in my impy stout, but tasty nonetheless.

Another steamy day on tap here in SWFL. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all!

Did a 3h hike in and round the vineyard. Now a beer and some local speciality "Flammekueche". Cheers

Sometimes I will see an Adirondack chair sitting on someone's lawn and I think to myself. 'Damn, that's a spot for a beer'. About 90% of the time I indulge myself to these thoughts you definitely weren't picturing. The smile that slowly spreads across my face is only pushed further to the ends of my cheeks by one word, 'Mayonaise'. The type of people who own front yard chairs are the same type of people who purposely move near a gas station to be convenient. With my plastic bag bulging with ripped scenes I can tell the family whose yard will become my battleground is home: I give no fucks.
I pop into that awkward shape where your body is shaped like a cursive 'L'. Mayo in one hand and Carlo Rossie in my crotch (left hand free) I start chugging. The world becomes my whirlwind as I feel diabetes course through my system (cheap wine has a lot of sugar). It takes about an hour before the neighborhood comes to the same conclusion I had when I woke up from the previous Adirondackventure, "This guy is a problem.".
I wait for the police covered in mayo and wine with my fists balled like Goku in his first martial arts tournament. America does not know the power of the karate chop and it's my purpose to show them. It takes maybe 5 seconds before I am shot in the arm and brought down by the boys in blue.

I am drinking a Miller Hi Life right now, considering price. 4/5

Tucher Helles Lager, 5.2% - a delicious Helles, right up there with the best! Light amber color with a thick frothy head. Aromas of mild cracker and bread malts, and light floral grassy hops. Slight caramel, mild sweetness. Cheers! :beers:

Good morning, BA. Swung by a local store get some local low-octane beers to sneak into Margaritaville today. Let's see if I made a good decision.

I added this to the Beer Database, but not sure this is what BA considers a beer vis a vis other NA offerings, but I see 0.0% alcohol posted here at times, other NA 0.1-0.5, so here it goes.

    Revolution Super Zero

    Can Notes:
Comped four pack, canned 6/30/23 @ 11:00:11. Sabro and Nectaron Hops. Citrusy and Refreshing. Sparkling Hop Water. Ingredients: Carbonated Water, Hops, Citric Acid. 0 Calories. Refrigerated until opening.

Appearance: Clear base, mild plus sustained carbonation. 4.25

    Aroma:
Really nice citrus aroma, backed by tangerine and mint. Really nice. 4.5

    Taste:
Consistent with the aroma, citrus lead, light tangerine. Enjoying. 4.5

    Mouthfeel:
Persistent carbonation though gentle to mild. Enjoying the flavors, light, cool, crisp and refreshing. 4.25

Overall: I typically do not buy sparkling water or NA products, but this would work great on a hiking trip or just to relax at home when you don't have lemons on hand to flavor water. I haven't enjoyed the few NA beers I've tried in the past but I am enjoying this. Will pick up some in the wild or taproom once it's released. Also makes me curious to try other Hop Waters. Well done Revolution, thanks for giving me exposure to this style of beverage. 4.5

Giving feedback as requested by the brewery. Thanks Doug and Rev Team! @BeerCruncher

#DIPA. The mighty double IPA from To Øl.
Catching some last rays of Sun. I'm glad it is not as hot around here (NW Europe) like it is in the Mediterranean area recently.

@EdmundExley about Kilkenny and others on tap in Amsterdam; there are plenty Irish and some English pubs in Amsterdam and The Hague. And some Dutch cafes that tap Irish beers too. This dates back to the years after the war I believe. There were many builders from Ireland working here to help rebuilding what was damaged during the war. And also building for a growing population.

Besides Guinness the Irish beers are not widely available in supermarkets or shops :slight_frown:

    Cheers all

New Belgium Fat Tire Amber / Red Ale, 5.2% - light amber gold with a tan head that falls quickly. Aromas of mild toasty malts and light fruity hops, tastes crisp and balanced, thin and slippery, slight caramel. This is fine. Cheers! :beers:

Brewdog seems to be dirt cheap in France. Almost same price for 500ml compared with what I pay for 33cl...

Also saw Fender released the new Tom Delonge Strat. So tempted to buy one. But the price seems a rip off. I want the daphne blue and this can kinda reminds me off it. Argh... Cheers!

Fiddlehead IPA, 6.2% - delicious with a grainy malt that is just unmatched! Letting it warm a bit from the fridge really makes the citrusy flavor and velvety-soft feel stand out! Cheers! :beers:
