I mean it's possible.. the eyes on strips right now are huge. Summer market has kicked in. I buy meats weekly at the restaurant.

 

Bone in KC Strip is my favorite cut.
The most important thing is the grade though. Is it Choice? It has to be at least choice if not prime to be a really good steak but bone in adds flavor to that strip. Also there is less work in not taking the bone out so that reflects the price diff....now let's talk dry aged BI Strip Steak

 

Is there anything more rock n roll than that, Angus and the boys holding it down ...love that

 

It was a supermarket angus (not that Angus) steak, not really graded beyond that. There was a trivial amount of bone, but some fat. It was $8.99 Lb. I bought another one today that was $12.99 from the butcher's case. That one was boneless and well marbled, I'll take a good picture of it when I grill in the next day or so.
