Franziskaner Weissbier is my choice. Spectacular wheat beer that I hope one day to live long enough to see @Franziskaner post one here

Interesting. Guess I reviewed that one in 2017.

I think my tastes tend toward the higher ABV when it comes to wheat.

Back in the 90's, once I started kegging my homebrew, I went on a tear of brewing increasingly stronger hefe's that were getting ~7.5% and still mighty quaffable.

Then, I found Vitus, and realized I sucked at brewing. Hahaha!

Six years is a lot of time for palate progression. Try one and let me know. FWIW I scored the two virtually the same. Cheers.

Smooth as silk, nice vanilla and chocolate notes, espresso. This was my last one.

Good evening, advocates. I think I'll pull up a chair and have a beer w/ you guys as I get some things in order. I have no idea what game is on in the background. That kind of day. I think everyone should be familiar w/ what I'm drinking. Shout out to an old-school Lagunitas classic. Cheers!

Watching this PBS thing about the Troubles. Having lived over in the UK 88-93 it hits a little close to home, Americans weren't bomb-proof. Having gone a couple of MOD bases, you saw the tight security & knew this wasn't far away

Here's another Deschutes seasonal that I adore. The bottle conditioning gives it such a velvety, soft mouth feel. Hops are a light citrus summer kiss.

Oh, I agreed. My palate is a moving target over the years!

I definitely enjoyed it tho! Would happily revisit.

I gotta be honest - and some folks will perceive this as "negativity", but I've yet to find a Jack's Abby beer that really wowed me. Consequently, I just don't buy them anymore. Not saying they're bad, just not my cup of tea er, beer. Cheers!

Revolution Life Jacket (BA English Barleywine with guava, mango, passionfruit, coconut, and natural flavors). My curiosity got the best of me with this purchase. I absolutely love Straight Jacket and feel it's one of the best BA English Barleywines made, so all of these adjuncts just seem dirty to me.
At room temp, this one still adheres to it's roots, bringing caramel, some maple, fig, boxed raisin, molasses, Werther's Originals, some stonefruit, oak, vanillin, and bourbon spirit with a twist of tart passionfruit and a slight presence of guava and mango as it warms even more. The coconut stands out among the adjuncts though, as it makes sense given the base beer and complements everything well. Can't say the same for the fruits.
This is fun to drink, but I definitely prefer regular Straight Jacket. Barleywine is life!

I get it but I love lagers and they make a shit ton. I like all of them for the most part even their Baltic Porters.
