    At De Wildeman Brassiere in Tielt town center. The Westmalle Trappist I'm having is young (Feb 2023bottling), but does not disappoint. World Class Brew!

    Several weeks ago @champ103 posted this delicious dry stout a few times. It finally made it out to my part of the world. Wore my thumbs out twiddling them waiting for it’s arrival.

    Clear, light gold body; dense carbonation; thick head, white, creamy, sculpted. Initial scent of fruity esters then a fine, light cereal grain note. Outstanding toasted grain and biscuit-like taste; a dab of honey; light to moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; smooth and rich on the palate; delicate sweetness complemented with a very subtle dryness.

    This is an incredible light lager with standout flavor and mouthfeel for the style.
