Having an extra day off as well. Starting with hardcore IPA from Brewdog. Good beer but I thought it would be more bitter. And yes I said "hello how are you" to the beer before tasting

A very interesting home brew. Its a porter with a ton of backyard hops...it seemed watered down. Next the beer was frozen and became an esibock/porter/ipa. This is the tastiest home brew fail! Anyone got a good name for this style?

The last from my six pack. I still really enjoy this beer, but I'm not nearly as blown away by it as I was when I first had it.

First one of these ever , man I have been missing out , my first beer into the wonderful world of craft beer was Sam Adams Creme Stout and to me this is a better version of that beer , perfect for a cold rainy day

Home from work with a cold, and decided to start self-medicating. It's a brutally cold and windy day, so to the fireplace I go, listening to SVP and Russillo in the background:

Don't mind the massive amount of dog hair on my sweats. :flushed:

And now, on to the winter warmer! Eh? Yeah, about that.....

I wanted to like this, I really did, but it was ultimately a thoroughly mediocre beer. Very, very disappointing. More "sour" than "cherry," and more "meh" than "stout." Very sad that instead of reviewing something special for the big 2-0-0, I ended up with what was more or less a dud. Ah well.

    Cheers, BAs!

Fixing my palate after that stout with a Heady Topper. I'm down to a four-pack, and I'm starting to get anxious. Going to have to switch to Flower Power for my go-to IPA, which isn't bad, but it's a pretty big difference. :slight_frown:

Old pic (last week), but I didn't want anyone questioning all the hair on my sweatpants. :grinning:

    Prost!
