    ...channeling my bad pun @eppCOS here: staying TRVE to my beer drinking course today after my previous TRVE beer...a day early, too...< groan >...I wonder why Eric doesn't push the boundaries of good taste anymore...???...

    Thanks - roughly 4 months this tasted older than that. I will be unlikely to purchase it again because it was really terrible, and that will be my last memory of it. Cheers!

    I went to Total Wine today to get some stouts and brown ales. It is that time of the year. Thought about getting a “build your own” six pack. One can I looked at had a Best By date of May 2023. Others were not so bad but I changed my mind and a bought a six pack.

    Why do I do it? Honestly I like the experience a bit more. I find the aroma not lacking and I like to see that color and head. Its that simple. I would never question authority. Never:flushed:

    I find most of the build your own six packs tend to be old beers, and that's how they get rid of them. It amazing how old some of the beers can be - but if you complain about it they regard you as a fussy beer nerd-prima-donna.
