Two Roads Roadsmary's Baby pumpkin ale, 6.8% - so warming and delicious! Cheers!



-Look: Beautiful clear deep amber with a tan frothy head.
-Aroma: Dark rum poured over a slice of pumpkin pie!
-Taste: Mild cinnamon and pumpkin pie, soft dark rum.
-Feel: Smooth and round, thin but soft and silky.
-Overall: One of the better pumpkin ales, with great rum highlights!

Some mediocre pizza with kinda a beer. Better hops to come

 

Bitburger Eifelbräu Helles Landbier (still in Germany).
A local Bitburger version. No worries, the regular is better This is just good beer. I guess the Landbier in this case relates to regional beer and not saison or farm beer.

I don't normally like pumpkin beers but I took a chance on this one because of the Spider Gates reference. Spider Gates is an allegedly haunted cemetery with a long history. It's hard to visit now because it's on the Worcester airport property and marked no trespassing. Anyways, this beer is really quite good - I'm definitely liking it a lot.

Wormtown Fresh Patch pumpkin ale, 4.5% - nice pumpkin-pie flavor! Cheers!



-Look: Deep golden pumpkin-color with a fizzy head that falls fast.
-Aroma: Mild pumpkin pie with low spice in the background.
-Taste: Good pumpkin-pie flavor, mild spices, balanced.
-Feel: Loose and thin, prickly and fizzy, chug it!
-Overall: Thin and light, but kudos for nice pumpkin-pie flavor!

 

Excellent - not to be found in these parts yet, but hopefully it wont be long .. cheers!
