Wife got this at some estate sale a few months back; she loves old magazines. But yes I agree!

    Awesome stories!

They were one of my favorite bands I never had a chance live. I thought Ben was Polish (paired with my Polish Lager) but just looked it up and he was Slovak. Still my favorite band from Boston (J. Geils Band and Pixies for Silver and Bronze).

Elliot is 69 now, I believe Don (Scream) was 71 when he passed, so they may have been in HS together (Don a Senior, Elliot a Freshman) at the same time.

Cracked open one of my favorite all time beers (last canned vintage) to post a late night beer to toast Don and The Cars!

Two more from their debut album, one of my favorite rock debuts (Dire Straits another solid debut effort in 1978).

And two from Heartbeat City to pair with the beer name.

Ugh. That last pickle beer was kinda dull. The Destihl Spicy Pickle Beer kicks some real ass. The Oliphant drop...OK. >>All signs point to P E P P E R B E E R. KS Hot As Helles Lager. It's served here, at my place, right here at our virtual bar. Doesn't look like much of a beer but it'll make you sweat where you thought you couldn't. Cheers!
