Rise and shine. This is one I'm pretty sure I've had before, and I have to thank @cheeseheadinMinneapolis for it when we met at Lupulin brewing a few weeks back. Happy November, and stay warm for those of us in the upper midwest.

Well, another from @cheeseheadinMinneapolis . I disagree with the worldview of the brewer, but I think this is a tasty beer overall.

From a 16oz can. I will start by saying my political views are 180 from the brewery, but, as always, I will give my honest review, and pull no punches (good or bad)

This beer as I was pouring almost looked like lemon juice. After it settled out it is a very clear light golden pouring beer. The carbonation rising in the glass is slow rising. The head was 3 finger before I poured the rest in the glass. The end product is 2 finger, and it's white. It's quite frothy looking and long lasting. There's some great lacing on the glass as it dissipates.
The aroma is actually quite pleasing. Nice bread/biscuit aroma. It has notes of fresh baked bread. Slight hint of honey also shows up in the mix.
Taste - The taste is somewhat light, but not surprising for the style. It is a malty beer, and decent bread/biscuit notes. There's some lemon in the flavor, that I didn't get off the nose. The lemon provides a bit of bitterness to this beer. I also get a faint honey sweetness in the mix.
Crisp body. The lemon bitterness does linger. Light feeling, but that was expected.
Overall, I actually like this beer, and I did my best to not put my biases in it.

Another that @cheeseheadinMinneapolis kindly gave to me. I've had it once before at my nephew's birthday party, on tap. It's tasty, but totally lacking in what it's billed as.

    1) Hacker Pschorr Wiessbier (5.5%): A German Hefeweizen with flavors of orange citrus, floral notes, wheat, and yeast.
    versus
    2) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier (5.4%): A German Hefeweizein with flavors of orange citrus, wheat, yeast, and bread spices. Smooth

    Winner:
    2) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier:
German Hefeweizen Battle. Hacker Pschorr is the #8 ranked hefeweizen on BeerAdvocate, and Weihenstephaner #1. The two pour nearly identical. Identical aromas. Hacker Pschorr has slightly more orange citrus with Weihenstephaner having slightly more bread and spices with a larger mouthfeel. I don't think I had found Hacker Pschorr fresh in the past, but it drinks much better this time around. Weihenstephaner with the slight win.

So far my German Hefe rankings are:
    1) Weihenstephaner
    2) Andechs
    3) Hacker Pschorr
    4) Schneider Weiss
    5) Ayinger
    6) Erdinger
    5) Adventinus

    Celebrating All Saints' Day today.

One of my favorite local WCIPAs, in spite of the Bears related name and can artwork. Do not fret Dan @Danmullens1 and Micah @GreenBayBA , the Bears have not won the season series since 2007, and have only finished ahead of the Packers six times in over 30 seasons (since 1992: 2018, 2010, 2008, 2006, 2005 & 2001).

    Tighthead Longsnapper IPA

Bruce's Best Band IMO, with Bruce providing lead vocals & acoustic guitar, Vini Lopez on drums, David Sancious on piano & organ, Garry W. Tallent providing bass and Clarence Clemons (tenor sax and background vocals). Dan Federici sat this one out, was awesome as well.
