Pretty tasty.

14th Star - Maple Breakfast Stout

 

Fat Heads Imperial Head Hunter DIPA (Simcoe, Centennial, Mosaic, Citra, Chinook). Tastes just like you'd expect...a stronger version of probably the best west coast IPA made in the Midwest. A nice malt backbone, but this is meant to show off the hops. Huge citrus and pine character. Ruby red grapefruit and navel orange flesh and peel, tangerine, bright floral, lemon zest, ripe pineapple, earthiness, and resinous pine. The 95 IBU's on the can is accurate; this one is unabashedly bitter.

Still rolling here with a Beer'd Dogs and Boats fantastic IPA! I believe the last time I had Patron was at Grand Seas Condos in Daytona Beach, bike week 2014. We were chilling in the bar and then Robbie Knievel and Dan Haggerty came in and bought Patron shots for everyone (about 12 folks). Allegedly I sang karaoke that night, but no pics or video exist.....thank God!

 

So, Wednesday before thanksgiving is the worst day of the year at my house. Everyone is on edge, and my maniac wife is cleaning up a storm.

my wife made an apple pie, cranberry sauce, and Mac n cheese, then left this on the drying rack. Fuck this, I didn’t know where half this junk went, and I had to make world class universally loved turkey stuffing. So, put away what I knew, left the junk on the counter, then did my thing.
3 hours later wife yelled at me for leaving a mess on the counter.
Insanity!



Btw: night before Thanksgiving was the best night of the year to go out: College Years…. My college kids are out on the prowl now.
