What beer are you drinking now? #4070

Good morning BAs! It’s 8:45 GMT and I’ll have one with @jkblr … finishing my packing, then off to the airport. Starting the day on the light side with Brew Dog’s “Punk IPA”:



An ok IPA. Watery lemon, very lightly bitter.

Got my boarding pass and checked my bag…upstairs drinking my last hotel beer before going through security - Camden Pale Ale:



More watery and less bitter than the Punk IPA; same lemony vibe. Next stop, the lounge. Cheer y’all!

 

Pretty average breakfast buffet in the lounge…drinking the only beer offered - Cruzcampo Sevilla by Heineken UK - Pilsner:



Good lookin beer with a nice nose; otherwise watery meh. I may go look for another beer…Cheers!

An excellent Impy IPA, classic West Coast, courtesy @muchloveforhops3 and BSBIF#1. Both resinous and malty, just beautiful, and cries "Drink Me"! Thanks Doug! Rating 4, rDev 0% (First review)

First a CBS, and THEN a Celebration?

 

Tonewood Revolution Porter. 6.5% coffee porter from Oaklyn NJ. With a fat breakfast burrito. It’s not bacon it’s “bacon”. Keeping it veg. Brown sugared that thing. In 2014 I was a cook in a diner on Long Beach Island and besides the daily nightmare ( or blessing) of a hour and 45 minutes wait time and a line down the street every day, the one take away is I learned to cook. This burrito reminds me of having to double wrap breakfast burritos the size of a newborn while King Diamond blasted thru the kitchen speakers at 7:30am. Skinny Mike….wherever you are. I didn’t forget when you got wrecked on Heinekens and went down to the beach and filled a red flyer full of sand for the garden out front and got two tickets. Ones for public intoxication/open container and a ticket for “stealing” the sand and big Mike had to come down to the police station at 8am when the office opened to pick you up and brought you back and you jumped right on the line and got to work on your day off hahaha.

Good day BA's! Chores done then went for an eye exam and got new glasses ordered. The new technology is great, no more drops or dilation.... Two Hearted on a sunny, pleasant 63 degree day.
