I think all Lagunitas smell fantastic, great aroma!

It's snowing here for the third time in 18 years. Drinking economy until tonight, on number two:

A friend left this behind when we had some people over. I'm not the biggest Saison fan, but enjoying this while watching some SEC Championship'ing. Bedlam was crazy.

Very light and crisp, some floral and then a little citrus. Maybe a little earthy/grassy. That's about as descriptive as I can get with beer. Usually it's a thumbs up/thumbs down kinda thing. Very caveman like with my thoughts on beer.

A smaller local brewery here, Holy City, released 3 barrel aged varieties of their Collision Stout, which is in Imperial Stout. Collision by itself is ok, but the barrel aging for 11 months adds so much more to it. I only wish they had the capacity to bottle it.

Started off with the Jack Daniels Barrel Aged. It was a little unbalanced, but I still enjoyed it. I'd drink it again and again.

They got a Knob Creek barrel from HUSK, a restaurant downtown, that's one of the top places to eat in the US. To get into this place, you have to do reservations at least 1 month out. This was extremely good. Had a strong bourbon taste to it, but no alcohol burn, very smooth.

This was the 21yr old Willet Rye barrels, they got from Bottles over in Mt. Pleasant. This one had a nice rye whiskey flavor, but not overpowering. It blended very well. My 3yr old daughter got her pic with Brewery Santa, in between the brewing tanks. Told him she wanted a fishing poll, made me proud. Pretty cool!

Went to Husk when a friend got married down in the Charleston/Savannah area. Very good. Small wedding, so they had the whole wedding party go out there. Give it a shot. Good southern food.

Watching SEC championship and looking forward to the ACC and Big Ten championships. First time having this and it's delicious. Nothing outstanding or mind-blowing, but it is local and a solid brew. I highly recommend it.
