    this was the first one for me, I rarely drink Kolsch but I liked this Altbier a lot, kind of fruity and nutty, full bodied and crisp. Cheers!

    1) Founders Porter (6.5%):     A Porter from Michigan with flavors of chocolate, lactose, mocha, and a smooth finish.
    versus
    2) 3 Sheeps 15-2 (7.2%): An American Stout from Wisconsin with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, lactose, moderate roast with a dry finish. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) 3 Sheeps 15-2    : Midwest Porter/Stout Battle. I've done this battle before and it's always one of my favorites to come back to as they are two of the best of the style. First is Founders. It's decadant and rich, yet balanced and smooth. One of the best.
    Next is 3 Sheeps. They make some great beer is this is an underrated stout without a doubt. Bittersweet chocolate, nice roast, yet somehow dry on the finish. Founders is a favorite, but this 3 Sheeps Stout is on another level in the Stout game. I don't throw around the word a lot, but this is a perfect Stout.
