    Upslope Brewing Miombo. Brewed with light Miombo honey and aged in Spirit Hound Whisky barrels. Nothing light about this at 17.3%.:sweat_smile: I will say it's another great sipper from their barrel program and a worthy time killer as the dogs get groomed.     I'm not a George Michael fan, but I was listening to this the other day and I could imagine the type of pain one must have endured to write it. It's brilliant really, and it all comes to a head w/ the final words he sings. Is this one of the best songs ever written? I guess it depends on who you're asking. Peace...

    I felt the same and unfortunately came to appreciate his solo talent when he was gone. The dude had a great soulful voice and presence. Cheers....:beers:

    Been receiving a few spam texts from political entities. I have to block like 2 numbers per day. Sometimes more. Yuck! But what is not yucky is that I'm goin' to Chet's Brewskies in about 6 hrs before a BrassZilla rehearsal. Not much is needed as I have a lode on its way from Half Time, but I'm gonna try my luck, roll the dice, and see if I can't get another bottle of Stille Nacht for $1.99. Ha! It's worth a shot. >> Tree pruning is my story now. Our old black hills spruce is looking good and we have Davey Tree Co. treat our spruce for needlecast and spider mites. Well, rehearsal or not, I need a beer! Esp when knocking around the muddy yard. I'll just whip out this Blackstack Fugazi Italian-Style Pilsner. Salute!

    It's Asian. Rather common around here because of our colonial history. Plain prawn or cassava crackers are normally served here before an east Asian meal.

    1) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier (5.4%): A German Hefeweizein with flavors of orange citrus, spices, banana, bubblegum, and yeast.
    versus
    2) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel (5.3%): A German Dunkelweizen with orange spice, banana bread, bubblegum, smooth bread and spices. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel:     Hefeweizen vs Dunkelweizen battle. First is their Hefe which is bright, smooth, flavorful, and leans slightly sweet. One of if not the best Hefeweizen out there. Next to their Dunkelweizen it drinks very similar. The dunkelweizen pours darker, but has slightly more banana bread and spices. Is also a touch dryer with less sweet orange flavor. I'll probably repeat this battle again sometime because they are so similar. Interesting comparison and both are similarly fantastic.
