Actionable Intelligence, a pilsner from Cerebral Brewing. Decent, if a bit forgettable.

@TCgenny my reply from yesterday. On the OH brews.

They are good. I haven't had my socks knocked off per se but solid haze for sure. Favorite has been Double Citra Daydream. OH is expensive when we get some I'm reluctant and I gotta catch em perfect timing. I'm ticking out of state beers more now so I'll still be purchasing some fresher cans or tap when I have the opportunity.

Bought this beer many years ago and told myself that was fun, but I won't do it again.
A few years later I did it again (the custom glass came with it that year) and told myself never again. This year, the young man who's going to marry my daughter decided he wanted to impress me and again I have a bottle. Never again.

A great beer to have on hand for special occasions. That price tag though

    1) Brau Brothers Thresher (5.5%): A Czech-style pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of rich bread, yeast, cloying honey and malt.
    versusm
    2) Bauhaus Wonderstuff (5.4%): A Czech-style pilsner from Minnesota that has bready and salty flavors with a nice lemon citrus bite. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Bahaus Wonderstuff:
Czech Pils Battle. Both from Minnesota. First is Brau Brother Thresher. Not the best reviews and I see why. Rich bread, but cloying malt and honey flavor that is not right. Would not grab this again.
Next is Bahaus Wonderstuff. One of my go-to Czech Pilsners. Always fantastic flavors and theyve been making it for years now. I always keep coming back to this great pilsner.

Fat Head’s has come to SW FL! At the pub for Country Monday drinking Head Hunter IPA:

West Coast delish baby! They only got a case and I’m taking a six pack home. Canned 2/19/24. Unbelievable!

Last evening’s parking lot drinking with co-owners Amanda and Tegan. I had a Hop Butcher’s “Dense Light” IPA:

Another beautiful day here in Sunshine City drinking with Tegan and my beer buddies. Cheers y’all!

    1) Phase Three DDH Perpetual Sounds (7.7% canned 1/19/24): A DDH NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Amarillo for flavors of fruity blueberry tea, peachy grapefruit.
    versus
    2) Toppling Goliath Broccoli Special Reserve (8.3% canned 1/23/24): A NEIPA from Iowa with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Blanc for flavors of mango, sweet orange, pineapple, and lychee. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Toppling Goliath Broccoli Special Reserve
: NEIPA Battle. Perpetual Sounds from Phase Three is a really good one. Mosaic and Amarillo combine for a bright berry medley flavor. Up against Toppling Goliath Broccoli Special Reserve. They pour similar, nearly identical aromas. The flavors are again quite similar with tropical pineapple, berry medley and grapes. A bit more floral and zest from the Blanc and not quite as smooth. These were more similar than I thought and hard to tell the difference blind. A more interesting beer battle than I predicted. I've give a win to both of these.
