Ones from the past. Musta just breezed right over them. So, my 4 Michael Jackson's Pocket Guide To Beer books are back on the bar! Who knew? Maybe there's more. Crazy warm here again today so I'll start light with this drop from Portugal. Some outdoor work can be accomplished today. Quinas Original. Sköl!

New to me WC IPA

I’m going to drink it for awhile and then NBW it. Initially it’s got a big juicy nose, citrus flavors, slightly astringent but pretty easy drinking. Cheers

Goldfinger Pils. One of the best lager-centric breweries in the U.S. imho. Minerality, oyster cracker, grass, herbal hop. Soft and delicate, yet crisp and refreshing. This beer does true German Pilsner justice.

That one really hits the spot for me. Had it last weekend at Rev's taproom. Crisp and refreshing. Was a perfect accompaniment to one of their barrel aged offerings. Cheers!

Was thinking I might do this beer for NBW, but I am fairly certain this Colossal anniversary ale by Port City is a re-brewing of their Colossal Five - same style and ABV and without a distinctive number for the brewery's 13th anniversary.


Plus, my review from years ago seems to describe this beer pretty well. So no new experience, but still a beer I am drinking now.

An afternoon of Big10 basketball against Maryland (men's & women's team) so will be flipping between channels eventually.
