    Good morning advocates and hoppy Sunday!

    Just got back from a supermarket where already by 9am there was some incident with some dude apparently not speaking French, causing troubles or maybe stole something. The gendarmes (cops) were there within five minutes. Dunno more about the incident.

    All I know is I’m safely home now enjoying one of my fave breakfast when I can do it: Westmalle Tripel and Comté cheese with a slice of baguette.

    Supposedly this is cheese too! Still, it helps out the eggs. Lust not for this beer; I'm still trying to justify it.

    Trying 3 of my favorites Hefe Weisses in a comparison. I assumed Weihenstephaner as the most spiced one, would crush them all, but actually Maisel's bit more peaty, earthy and caramel like taste and wonderful mouthfeel, makes Weihenstephaner struggle. Paulaner has the most dry finish with a little notes of ash-tray. Not really for me.
    It is in between Maisel's and Weihenstephaner.

    Did a 1h walk and after that jumped on the bike for a nice ride. Now beer and UFC time. Which is free to watch since this year. 8) cheers

    Genesee honey brown. Haven’t had it since it was sold as Dundee honey brown. Saw it and took a chance and my word I can’t believe how much I’m enjoying it. Simple in the best way

    Close call in between Maisel's and Weihenstephaner. I guess I like them both for their own character.
    Finished my Paulaner as well, no punishment, but actually Paulaner is kind of salty as well. Some sweatiness to it.

    I guess overall, this is the better beer.

    But i love Miasel's as well. And Ayinger is still on my wanted-list.

    This, bottled on January 23rd, is my 2nd favourite from the Torpedo pack. I would certainly buy it as a stand alone.

    Good morning, BAs! I flew in early evening yesterday and immediately got back to cooking (and drinking), making bavette steaks with homemade basil (homegrown basil!) chimichurri sauce. Tonight I’ll be slow cooking a pot roast with a London Broil … but my wife is cooking lunch, so I get to relax while I sip on FW’s latest Anniversary Ale:
