Breckenridge Agave Wheat a bit lighter than I'd hoped.

In keeping with my "bringing dipa's from the cellar" theme of today, this:

Not sure how I felt about it fresh (ish since I got them via trade) but it's quite good now.

Still haven't had one and I'm a local.
May have to gun for the $15 magnum since they're on sale now.

I just drank a Choklat yesterday. So great. Gonna age the other one if I can manage to have some any sort of self control.

It's a frigid 12 Degrees here in northeastern Connecticut and Tomorrow is my day off. I figured I would need some higher ABV beers to help keep warm on this cold December night -

Starting the night off with :

After dinner, this will be next:

and then I saw this tonight at the local store and figured I would give it a try and keep the warmth going:

That's like chasing the dragon with your first toke of ganja right there. Every trade thereafter will be measured against ZD, one of my top 5 IPAs of all time
Find it funny that I'm 20 minutes from the brewery and still haven't seen sixers.

I don't have my camera on hand, but I'm having my last of the fresh Bourbon County Brand Barleywines (apart from my small cellar stash). Frankly I would not be surprised if one year is too long in the cellar: take away that flash of heat and I wouldn't change anything else about this beer. I'll probably crack a bottle at the start of the summer and if that heat is gone I think I'll drink the rest, it might not be King Henry but I love it anyways.

Here's to hoping this becomes at least as plentiful as Bourbon County Stout in the future.:sunglasses:

I enjoyed this fully on tap! Yet in the comfort of my own home, I can see why is is world class! The mouthfeel on this is just... amazing.

When I was at Max's and the snifter was given to me, and I smelled this Stout. This is what went through my mind.

    Cheers!
