Hello fellow beer lovers! A lovely day here with a warm week on tap. Just swapped my winter tires for the summer set and am ready as hell for a brewskie. Repeating a beer from yesterday but doing a slow pour to minimize the sediment. That's really the only fault of this one in its style otherwise it's pretty good. Perhaps mildly above average. Modist Day Of Another Dream WCIPA. Well, here goes nothin'....and success!!

Most of the last snow has melted, so this morning was spent checking on trees and shrubs. Got an upper body workout in and now it's time for lunch and beer.

Beautiful day here in Central Ma - currently 75 degrees on the thermometer. Managed to get out for a while to take a spin down to the recycling center to drop off some fluorescent lights, something I've been wanting to do for a while. Now relaxing with a Cold Harbor Southpaw Rye IPA. Local brew and pretty tasty as well.

 

Enjoying this one from Fonta Flora, definitely more port barrel forward than bourbon. Pretty tasty brew.

Here's another really nice brew: Luce Line Hosel Rocket WC Lager. Heyooooo! Kick it in!

 

1) Arbeiter Bowie In Space New Zealand Pilsner (5.3%): A New Zealand Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of earthy tea, grassy notes, pale malts.
versus
2) Dangerous Man New Zealand Pilsner (5.4%): A New Zealand Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of lemon citrus, grassy notes, bread and yeast. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Dangerous Man New Zealand Pilsner: New Zealand Pilsner Battle. New at both of these. First is Arbeiter Bowie In Space. No reviews yet. It drinks grassy, earthy, some tea-like flavors linger. Drinks more like an old IPL and the tea notes aren't great. Not terrible, but could be better.
Next is Dangerous Man's. Similar, but slightly more grassy and citrusy notes. Tastes more fresh and developed. Very enjoyable and the winner here.

 

Another top 250 tick. Not impressed with this one.
