    Cheers @Shanex for getting us started today.

    Travelled up to York for a day on our way to Whitby tomorrow. First drink of the day in the York Tap is Hirundo by Thornbridge. Cask pale, more of a summer beer, not the best for the rainy day we have at the moment.

    Chandeleur Island Brewing Lil Smack IPA

    Hazy orange gold color with white cap and lacing.

    Aroma primarily of hops, rich scents of pineapple, mango and grapefruit with a touch of resin.

    Taste is hop forward on entry with the citrus element prominent followed by resin and malt in the background. A sense but not taste of mild sweetness. Hops lead to the finish then linger in the aftertaste.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Overall it's a pleasing effort of hop forward IPA without apparent flaws.

    Already had a bowl of shells and cheese with scrambled eggs stirred in. This beer will cap off the perfect meal for sleeping all day so you can work all night

    Currently in Auvers sur Oise, a town known to many for being the place where Vincent Van Gogh spent his last months painting numerous masterpieces today in different museums around the World.

    Drinking a Pale ale but dunno which one, I think it’s local. I like the glass though.

    Good morning/day BAs! Back on my regular routine, and starting with a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout:

    Poured at 54°. I saw that there were some 6pks on the shelf at the Publix yesterday. I will have to stop by and and get one or two.

    I have some minor maintenance to perform at the house later this morning, then I’m free for the day. Cheers and have a thirst quenched Thursday y’all!

    Time for a snack now that I’m home.

    A slice of baguette and a Comté cheese paired with the Atomic Torpedo from Sierra Nevada. What a tall boy! Also pretty strong ABV.

    It’s great, has all the characteristics of a SN brew and is piney, resinous.

    GF bought 2 of these Aldi IPA's. 99cent for a 440ml can. It is pretty decent for the price. On par with some Brewdog beers but for half the price. Solid 7/10 Cheers
