What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4217

Damn, someone's had a busy but productive day/night! Thanks @ChicagoJ for finding time (and enough energy) to start today's thread. And I thought I was productive yesterday by mowing part of my yard without dying!
Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Final Impression and summation: 4.25 Very aromatic and tasty IIPA with well-hidden ethanol. Excellent price point – it’s a bargain! Possibly the best beer I've had to date from New Trails.

Crosstown Brewing Lucky Chompers Helles Lager



Shimmering light gold color with substantial white cap that lasts and lasts leaving good lacing behind.

Aroma of sweet malt and spicy/floral hops with malt foremost.

Hits the palate with malt richness that stops just short of being over much. Hops ride along atop this malt bus like noticable but unobtrusive luggage. Hops are more floral than spicy yet cut the malt sweetness just enough.

 

Rehydrating after another lawn mowing session and feeding the damn black flies. Gotta take a bath in insect repellant befoe starting. Vermin still buzz around my face and fly up my nostrils.

My usual beer. Founders Centennial.

@Peach63: No black flies where I live. No grass either, so no lawn mowing.

The head is white and frothy looking with great lacing. Sweet tropical smelling with lots of mango on it. Taste tropical for sure with mango dominated flavor. Hint of pineapple hits on the backside. Decent body. Bubbly feeling. Crisp, slightly dry finish. Tasty overall.

Enjoying some SHIT courtesy of the DTLA guy on a Tuesday afternoon. There is a lot to like about this except that this brings excessive heat with each sip...not sure if this is a base beer issue or wet barrels. Anyway, many thanks to Tomas @Resistance88 for the opportunity to try!
