Finback High Low DIPA with nine selected hops. Hops are used in herbalism for relaxation. This should chill out the nervous system nicely!

 

This stuff is nothing to sneeze at.

 

Wasn't that cold today, but better than outside everytime. Hot weather is tough.

I’ve always liked this 9.5% DIPA. Juicy orange flavor and semi sweet. Easy drinking not withstanding the high abv. Every time I see it on sale or BOGO I grab it. Our old friend Don Miller @scream would approve.

My son and I are trying King's Court Brewing's King Kolsch. Decent little beer.

 

This beer is needed on a 90 degree Friday.

I listened to my other Friday song (Tool’s Jerk Off) on the ride home, so now time for this one.

 

I've been overdue for some Chimay. Whether I drink the entire bottle tonight waits to be seen, but there's always tomorrow..



Some mellow t-storms rolled through, just some rumbling thunder and the occasional lightning strike, but mostly some downpours. Dropped the temperature already about 6 degrees down to 66 F outside.

This beer collab from two uber iconic breweries has been atop the “Trending Beers” column for what seems like months, so when I saw at my local this afternoon after returning from a long work week in Texas, I grabbed it and ran with it like I was stealing it.

It did not disappoint. Loads of fruity esters, clovey phenols, and spicy hops combined with a drying mouthfeel makes for a world class blonde ale, IMHO. Absolutely love it.
