What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4265

I don’t like the more “traditional” sour style, but give me a heavily fruited smoothie type and I’ll pound ‘em like a drum! Ever have a Mortalis sour? I highly recommend some. Considering my typical aversion to any abomination not a stout or barleywine, that says something.

The wife went to Bonefish, I stayed home to pay the well guys....at least she brought me tuna, with a Zombie Ice.

 

Not as good as the last beer IMO but still damn good!

Only 94° outside and with my big ass fan I hardly notice the heat. Winn Dixie had a great special on Sirloin steaks this past week, so I’m doing a quick marinade before putting one in my cast iron skillet, followed by mushrooms then eggs over easy…mushrooms count as a veggie, right? Cheers y’all!

Light golden color with lasting white cap.

Aroma of sharp generic citrus and floral/spicy hops.

Flavors of sharp, pithy citrus supported by equally sharp hops. Sounds monotonus but the balanced combination actually works.

Medium texture with abundant carbonation.

Overall the lack of sweetness makes for a crisp, refreshing drink.

 

Out front for a few with sunset and the birds. Jai Alai.....
