    Good morning.
Alder Beer Co. (Seregno, ITA) - RITMO - California IPA (7%).
44 cl can (€7 from the beershop fridge).
It's defined in the can as a California IPA, inspired by the San Diego brewing school.
Produced with only Pils malt (which gives it a truly beautiful color and transparency) and American Ale yeast, it's hopped with classic hops from USA: Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra, Chinook CGX (i.e. processed with cryogenic technology to separate the lupulin from the rest of the cone and offer a concentrated quantity to increase the flavor yield), Mosaic and Simcoe Cryo (same thing: cryogenic process to separate the lupulin and the bract and obtain a concentrated lupulin which will flavor the beer).
On the label: "Lot: L110F - Packaging date: 05/30/2024 - Best before: 10/30/2024".
On the nose there are immediately citrus and lighter notes of yellow fruit (peach, medlar, melon).
When poured, it produces an adequate foam of good consistency, which never leaves the head of the beer.
The colour is a very beautiful golden and is almost completely transparent (very "lagerized", i.e. similar to a Lager beer, except for a light haze).
In the mouth, beer with a medium body but "lightened" by a lively carbonation which makes it very easy and quick to drink and conveys a sensation of freshness of the product.
In the mouth there is not the usual "invasion" of the palate by fruity notes that I have found in other Alder West Coast IPAs.
Here drinking is quicker and without frills, although without giving up having its own distinctive features.
The entrance is characterized by a citrus flavor (orange peel, grapefruit) which fades into more fruity and floral notes (peach, melon) which in turn end quickly thanks to a nice woody bitterness (pine needles, forest grass ) and resinous, which dries the beer leaving a pleasant fruity aftertaste on the palate and at the same time a light (and, for my taste, pleasant) bitter note on the tongue.
Drinking is very quick and equally satisfying with a truly remarkable balance of body and flavours.
In my opinion, usually a very appreciable work that offers a drink that is anything but banal or obvious and which certainly makes itself distinguishable in a sea of offers of "standard" category craft products.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread, and to @Jack_14 for his always excellent review!

Today's New Breakfast Beer is from the recent BA/Untapped Enegren box from Half-Time:

This is also my first brew from Enegren - the pack bears don't haul them to the backwoods of NW PA.

Final Impression and summation: 4.25 Good pilsner, not too bitter but a bit grainy.
    Rating 4.23, rDev +2.7%

Not sure how much I'll be checking in this weekend. Pulled a beer from last trip which will hopefully remind me to not over-do-it with the beer purchases this weekend.

Loved the Newhart clip @Ozzylizard and shows, which coupled with Good Times were the first two shows I recall from my city growing up.

    G'day all!

I'm drinking this light Lager and man is it grainy. Bottom of the can says B.O.D. 5/17/24. I assume that means born on date. Anywho, I do like it.

    Prost!
