    Obviously...

Very elegant drinking - 'specially in the right glassware...

First of a bunch of barrel aged beers lined up for tonight. We're going to need some ginger or other massive palate cleansers after this bad boy. Not as bad as some have said, but still pretty brutal.

The yeast has been hard at work in this one. I think this is probably about 9 months old, and at this point it tastes almost exactly like Merica...crazy barnyard funk. I think I actually like this one better with a little age on it. Cheers!

Hit up Grimm Brothers earlier and had a Devils Riddle, a great barrel aged old ale.

Now back home and enjoying a mini growler of their oak aged american brown ale, Clever Hans.\

    Listening to some Sandrider.

Got to the bottom of this one by myself, and now I can't feel my face. Life is good.

Completely agree. New Belgium is very hit or miss for me (honestly more misses than hits) in their seasonal lines, but I actually really enjoyed this one. SN, on the other hand, I tend to enjoy most of their seasonals but found Flipside to be a let down.

This is easy drinking compared to Punishment. Repping Michigan for the rest of the night!

I wanted to like Flipside, but it's lacking something. Either it needed more solid body or residual malt sugar to carry the hops.

Complex malt flavor. Almost syrupy sweet.
