Happy 25th Anniversary!

 

I still have bad memories of our first hosted Thanksgiving at our then new house with Da Boss, must have been in '91. My Brother-in-Law talked me into cooking the turkey in his charcoal-based smoker. Bad move, since i had never smoked before and with no YouTube at my disposal it turned out disastrous with dinner being served about 3 hours late, most of the turkey being finished in a microwave

Me, onto round 2, had to pull out a Bigfoot 2024 after the Manhattan Bigfoot with round one for comparison. I was astounded with the first sips of the hop bomb being vegetal which i never have experienced with Bigfoot. But after about 3 sips it started balancing out, phew! Our rain has ended, and the skies appear to be brightening, enjoyed an inch or so, less watering effort for me the next few days! More Sirius XM Top 1000, a ditty from ELO - Jeff Lynne is so underrated, one of the sweetest male voices in the long history of rock.

First weekend of watching college football in the Elbow Room! Many games today, including @DoctorZombies’ alma mater against Penn State. A natural rivalry that should be played every season. Go Mountaineers! Drinking Cordial Green from Alias Brew Works. Cheers!

 

Turned out to be a great day. The Mrs had to work so I'm kind of sitting and enjoying a buzz.....ribs and smoked wings on the order. Cheers Freaks!
