Mad Scientist - Mad Light Session IPA

Of all the major European countries, the only one that I do not have (at least a documented) beer is Hungary. I once had an unidentified lager served in a Soproni glass in Budapest but I have no idea what it was or if it was even Soproni. Well, now I have an official tick. I now need to go hunting for the remaining European nations that I don't have on my tick list.

Full review linked above, New Beer Weekend #217 treatment linked here. This is brewed with old school hops, bursts with fruit, lime the strongest I can recall mentally in a non lime assisted beer. It's an excellent solid selection, which I am not surprised considering the source.

Had a jazz selection I'll play another day, have to honour the Good Doctor this morning, or late evening on my end. Great music and beer is everywhere!

 

Good day BAs! Off to a sunny start here in Lancaster - had dinner last nigh at Appalachian Brewing's Lititz tentacle - food was pretty good and the beer was mediocre as usual. Today's Breakfast Beer isn't new, it's one I brought with me after originally having it 17/11/20, knowing I wouldn't be able to pick up anything new until this evening when I hit Shangy's:



At yesterday's quilt show I saw my favorite from Grand Rapids (Posted three weeks ago) and found a new favorite:



If there's an AQS show near you, I'd encourage you to go - you'll see some fantastic art, not just the stereotypic classic quilt patterns.
