Another one of these. Son-in-law grilled some awesome smoked venison earlier tonight. Invited me over for dinner . Of course I accepted!

 

Pretty entertaining game thus far. I am too lazy to do a new beer today. Save it for another weekend

Pizza. I went inside because of the drizzle. Def don't like the 500 ° of my inside oven but this nicely thin stretched fermented dough came out great inside. Straight on the rack with a peel it had a really nice texture.

I seldom post in this forum but this was too weird to pass up..Currently drinking Brewery X 5th Anniversary WC IPA 5th Anniversary | Brewery X | BeerAdvocate The beer was purchased today from Trader Joes ( a local retailer). It cost $2.17 for 16 oz can that is 4 DAYS OLD. It is a nice example of the style. The price for the same volume at the Brewery a few miles from here is $9.17, and it comes in a plastic cup if you want to sit outside. Why the H*LL would I go there to drink from an inferior vessel and pay more than 4x as much? Remember....the can I bought is only 4 days old. I like their beers. I hate their venue.

 

Back home have Hyvee take and bake pizzas in for diner and the Sunday night football game on. Cheers!

I think I’ve looked at more pages of this thread today than I have in a long time. This is the best bar to hang out, bar none. Great music, great beer, even better people. I’m currently finishing that 120 Minute IPA while watching the first season of Friends with my kids. It was a show that started the fall after I graduated college, so I was at the characters’ age, and our group always watched the show before getting together at Rusty’s Tavern in Morton Grove every Thursday night.

So I guess my point is I still like bars after thirty years.

 

Yeah I really like the char from the outdoor at least 800 ° oven but you can make a great pizza inside as well. I'm picky. Prob an ahole pizza lover
