1) Toppling Goliath DDH King Sue (7.8% canned 6/17/24): A NEIPA from Iowa with flavors of orange citrus zest, flower, pineapple and mango skin. Bright and clean.
versus
2) Toppling Goliath Mosaic Mamba (8.5% 8/12/24): A NEIPA from Iowa with Mosaic and Galaxy for flavors of orange, melon, and mango. Smooth. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner: DDH King Sue
Toppling Goliath NEIPA Battle. First is DDH King Sue. A World-Class IPA and then Double dry-hopped. All Citra hops here. Juicy orange flower and mango skins.
Next is Mosaic Mamba, following @Danmullens1. A big DIPA with all Mosaic. Lots of orange, tropical pineapple, mango, melon. Drinks extremely clean and dry for the higher ABV. Excellent.
Toppling Goliath IPAs are generally outstanding, but the DDH King is incredible. Love live the King.

 

Watch this storm that is brewing in the Gulf, don't know where you and the other Florida guys are, but it looks like it could be a bad storm. Take care.

3 Sheeps Oktoberfest (5.5%): A Märzen from Wisconsin with flavors of rich bread, glazed caramel, toasty with some amber notes. Leans sweet.

It's the first cooler fall day in Wisconsin and perfect to have one of the best Marzens and watch some Sunday football. From 3 Sheeps, this Marzen has strong rich caramel and bread flavors. Toasty and rich. Sweet and one of the most flavorful Marzens I've had. Picked these and the glassware up at the Sheboygan event this summer at 3 Sheeps who kindly hosted us BeerAdvocates. Going to be enjoying a lot more of these this fall, but this is the first. A Marzen not to miss this Oktoberfest.
