Arbeiter Oktoberfest (5.5%): A Marzen from Minnesota with flavors of caramel, baked bread, cinnamon toast, and light floral notes. Clean.

First review on this Marzen from Arbeiter. These guys are making some great German lagers from The Twin Cities, so picked up a few of their Oktoberfest Marzens. Great caramel, and bread flavors. Toasty yet dry and clean. Not overly sweet, yet complex and robust flavors. This is an excellent Oktoberfest beer. Happy Oktoberfest and Prost!

 

I tried to do a half and half with Avery White Rascal and Founder's Nitro Rubaeus, but it blended too easily.
A red & white would have looked good.
I already drank the result.
Tasty though.
They offer these for floating.

Took a ride to Fox Farm today. Drinking Riffle the far beer is a West Coast IPA. Their first and the close beer is a Czheck Lager.
Going to review the riffle on new beer weekend when I get home.

Hop Butcher for the World Skrap Metal. I am getting ready to see the most brutal band on the planet, Suffocation, at Manitowoc Metalfest II, which is being held at Petskull Brewing in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. In the back of this picture is the courthouse where Steven Avery from Making a Murderer was tried. It is a gorgeous day. There will be a large selection of craft beer and heavy metal to enjoy.

 

Second Fox Farm beer an Alt beer. Good of course.

Other than the choice of serving vessel, the beer is pretty good.

 

Equilibrium Epsilon Porter - very good!! Going to have to start dinner shortly, making chicken Tikka Marsala and roasted Delicata squash.
