    Yes, we have solid PA options at home, but hard to find fresh at times including SN and FFF, so don’t buy as often as I like.

    Different Vegas trip for me as it’s 15-20 F warmer than average, so plopped myself playing poker for a freeroll I cashed. Spent 20 hours gambling, won $120. No good beer at the tables, they used to serve comped Grapefruit Sculpin at the Flamingo poker room (draft or bottle).

    Visited less places than planned, my prior tolerance of 1 beer an hour all day/night seems to have dropped to 5-6 beers max a day. Probably for the best after dropping to one beer at home a day. Getting old, miss my stay out til 7-10 AM Vegas and Chicago nights/early mornings. :slight_smile:

    @ChicagoJ That’s a fact, and I’m also down to one beer a day, maybe two most of the time.

    Lower tolerance of alcohol, I’ll likely go to my grave as a sober person.

    We used to shoot the shyte and drink a lot around here, some of us anyway… I think those days are behind me for good and for the best as you say. Also unfortunately those idiots at YouTube blocked the video you just shared in old France for whatever reason. What was it about?

    ...thanks...just posted an update to my question and found the South African answer...love mbaqanga music...saw Mahlatini and the Mahotella Queens (separate acts) in the DC area back in the early 90s plus other South African acts in West Berlin back in the late 80s...I have tons of African world music in my collections...I prefer the 60s and 70s era tunes mostly...even the northern Africa, more Arabic tunes have a certain cachet for me...and I appreciate some of the European / American takes on African styles ala Malcom McLaren ('Duck Rock') and Paul Simon ('Graceland') as well as Kronos Quartet ('Pieces of Africa')...and, of course, the Osibisa albums (especially the first two)...

    ...regardless, what a rich musical heritage from the African continent...

    Why are the Germans so much better at this? OEC is a stellar lager brewer, and yet this is not even close to as clean and crisp tasting as a Paulaner, Hofbrau, etc…

    Maybe this is actually from last year. It’s extremely malty and looks really dark. Head seems good though, so who knows
