Happy Friday ba. Pretty average day. Came out to blue rock pizza and tap in Greensboro Adam's farm. Started State Of Fear by Michael Crichton and its been interesting so far.

Abita pecan ale. Overall good brown. Barely any nose at all. Taste of brown bread/crust, caramel, pecan, cocoa, wood, peppercorn, pine, herbal, floral, grass, light coffee/char. Medium-high pine/herbal/char bitter finish. Lt med body. Drying resins with no hop astringency. Pretty flavorful and crisp. A lot more bitter than I expected, but still a good example of the style. 3.66/5

Gnosis Diverge IPA (Citra, Galaxy, NZ Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin). Big passionfruit, NZ funk, guava, yellow grapefruit, tangelo, earthiness, lime, kiwi, and pine resin. A higher attenuation which leads to a drier and crisper hazy with a pleasant bitterness. Another winner from these guys.
