...I will check out GIMP 3.0...

...and, like you, I'm not a Windows hater...I think it's actually a solid system now, yet I have always liked the early ethos of it...I actually got my first taste with Lindows...

...I was never a system admin per se, but did learn a lot of my chops on old mainframe systems in the military (e.g., Honeywell, DEC, IBM, Sperry) as an operator...did learn some programming and relational database stuff, but over the years (well, now decades), all that knowledge has basically withered away due to non-use on my part...

Been to Hulk Hogans bar. Twice. Many years ago. I probably have a picture still of me comparing my bicep to a picture of his. Looks like a leg compared to an arm!

Haha Lindows, nice! I sure as shit pirated Windows 1.0 for my 'IBM Clone' 8088 PC in high school. I was coding in Pascal for AP Comp Sci back then. I wish so much I still had that system to fire up with its 10MB HDD and a physical "turbo" button that rocketed the sucker from 8Mhz up to 10Mhz.

Much later in my 30s, after a looong detour in the restaurant world, and return as an adult for my comp engineering degree, my very first "career" job interview was with Chase Bank for Computer Operator III position. Something else came along, but I always wonder were that would have led.

This is the real deal ... audio kind of sucks, but at least it's not Stevie Ray trying to be Jimi.

I didn't realize the beer was named after a song. Now I need to buy another one since this is a banger

I was waiting for that. I never appreciated Hendix until later in life and now really appreciate what he did. Hendrix nailed it, but SVR brought it, IMHO. :heavymetal::nerd:

Honestly, I've never been a big fan of Stevie Ray - I always kind of viewed him as a Jimi wannabe.

I know he's a good player, but never been my cup of tea. Jimi is an influence on me, Stevie Ray isn't.

I can double down on the Heinekin. Love the stove pipe cans. Not light struck. Still a good beer

Simple dinner of turkey burger, potato and carrots. A tablespoon of a demi glace (that I broke, hate that). A blessed night all.
