It's a pretty good beer - I think the pomegranate outshines the plum. It's slightly tart and has a bit of that usual Saison funk. Finishes dry and crisp, worthy of a try! Cheers!

I'm finishing this BA Imperial Stout from Twin Elephant Brewing Co., released on Halloween. Five days in a growler wasn't a problem. It's still delish. Cheers!

 

It's a pleasure to be a part of BA. It's a space where I feel we can ignore the outside BS for awhile and just share life stories and beers. We may not agree on everything but mostly we are fair and civil. Virtual bar is cool because if I was drunk in a bar I might punch someone in the face. Oops.
That being said many of us are sending beers across the country to people we've never met. That says something about the comraderie.
Can't hold back I have to pop one of the Plinys the awesome @Nugganooch sent me. Cheers all and keep the faith.

 

Ya, wifey and I are lucky. My parents hit 65 years, then my father died. Wifey's hit 65 this year. We are at 37. Till death do us part. No regrets.

I’m not going to lie, when I left for work in the morning I couldn’t wait to get back home because I missed my wife all day. When we retired it was awesome to be around each other all the time. After about 6 months we decided it was time to find separate hobbies. We found a really good balance of together time and away time. Absence do make the heart grow fonder as they say.

Thanks - life is good - and being on vacation till next Thursday makes it even better.

Going out to lunch tomorrow with my daughter for my birthday so looking forward to that - probably going to hit up the Wormtown brewery afterwards since it's only a short walk from where we'll be eating. This is the place we're going - been going there since I was a kid, it's a bit like stepping back in history. The wait staff are awesome too.
