Trying the oulde phone this time. Even blinking out it's easier for some stuff...like posting this Madtree Seeing Colors HIPA. It has a beautiful tropical taste and is delicately dry. An excellent random purchase. Cheers!

    Good morning.
This is an Imperial IPA that is brewed once a year and involves the use of only Pils and Cara barley malt (in addition to a small amount of sugar) and the use of Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic hops in all phases.

Alder Beer Co. (Seregno, ITA) - DEATH ON 2 LEGS - Imperial IPA (8,2%)

The first consideration to make about this beer is to read the date on the label:
    "Batch: L276F - Canned: 11/11/2024 - Best before: 11/04/2025" - Today is 20/11/2024.
I have rarely drunk such fresh ones, even though the supply of Marco Valeriani's beers (undoubtedly a point of reference for hopped beers in Italy for years and years) is quite constant.
As soon as you open it, you immediately notice very lively citrus notes (ripe citrus) with tropical nuances that expand when poured.
It is beautiful to look at: golden color, almost completely transparent (lagerized).
There is foam, but little consistency.
In the mouth you find the scents that were perceived by smell, obviously amplified with this predominant hint of mandarin that invades the palate and leaves it full of flavor.
There are also tropical and summery notes of passion fruit and melon, but the mandarin flavor (clementine, to tell the truth) is undoubtedly the main one.
Medium density body, but it is lighter than what one would expect when drinking.
    Light carbonation.
the recipe also calls for the use of a little sugar and I must say that a slight sticky sensation remains on the lips at the end of drinking.
This time the bitter note is very contained and ample space is left for the fruity notes of ripe citrus fruit salad.
Evidently, this beer (unlike many others from Alder) was conceived on a modern basis that favors the exaltation of the taste of hops, rather than their bitter characteristic.
Overflowing taste, which transmits all the freshness of the product, ease of drinking not like an imperial IPA, very soft bitter note but still set with great balance in the truly explosive flavor range of this beer (in these conditions).

    Good morning.

I’ve been mentioning about drinking Stouts as the weather and season is on. Had to defrost the car this am. So a winter warmer of sort is needed: O’Hara’s Irish Stout:

Happy Wednesday ba. Up and at it here on my non-traditional but typical day off. The Riddle, tipa, tree house. Full bodied and a rather heavy feel. Really get the fruit punch quality here- w/ big notes of mango, peach, and mixed berries. A bit on the sweeter side but pretty nice stuff. 11/7/24,

    G'day all!

A very cool morning today. I bought a 6pack of the Rogue Dead Guy Imperial IPA yesterday, canned October 5th. Not too shabby. Plenty of pine, some dankness, tropical, malty sweet notes. 9.6%abv but the alcohol is not very noticeable.

    Prost!

Right along here ba. Juice project - citra/nelson, dipa, tree house. Really nicely balanced hop juice with nothing to overpowering. Nice subtle fruity hop notes, along with dry white wine. 11/6/24,

Cheers Frank, depression is really something tough to deal with.

As for suicide I don’t hold a judgement about this, but it’s a permanent “solution” to a temporary problem, as it’s often said.

Good afternoon BAs! After yesterday’s horrible testimony, my trial settled this morning. I’m having a Muffuletta and “Hand Plant” session IPA for lunch:

DH with Citra, Mosaic and Motueka. A tasty pounder of a session. The sandwich is top notch! One and done so I can drive back to St. Pete - Cheers from Sideward Brewing, Orlando FL!

A sunny but cool day. Cool enough that I'm waiting to walk the dogs. And while I'm waiting I'll drink this nice beer, Project Dank Earth Edition, from La Cumbre.
