An old beer/cellar pull… DFH’s “Raisin D’Extra:



Bottled 11/14/14. Poured at 54°. In my cellar room roughly 10 years…No perceived oxidation after all this time….Sugar beets, sugared raisins and plums. Semi sweet toffee but I’m tasting berries in the finish. Mind blowing science experiment today…#rarelyuseglassware…glass I brought home from my favorite brewery (Troost) in Amsterdam a couple of years ago…Cheers BAs!

 

Happy Friday BA's! Out for lunch at Pies & Pints. Currently drinking a Third Eye Brewing Company Liquid Harmony...an Amber Lager.

Nice pic Doug surprised there was not a White Christmas in Big Sky country! I've been seeing BBNA around our area on occasion, hope it tastes close to the original BB!
Misty light rain day with temps hovering around 40 so we skipped the planned hike. Enjoying a DIPA from Other Half D.C. and some Pop Rocks on Sirius.

I don't remember having this beer since I was in college. That was a loooong time ago. Strangely, Coors Light is the beer that got me into drinking beer. I remember being at a party playing some drinking game and taking little sips of this. It was tolerable then and barely so now. Cheers!

 

Lol! My first beer was a Budweiser. Thought it was terrible and didn't drink another beer for about a year. I think I've had a Bud maybe twice since then.

 

That was recorded in the early 2000's with my old jazz trio Everblue. Probably around 2004 or so. Cheers!

 

Ha! My first beer was actually a Michelob that my dad and uncle watched me nurse for a couple hours when I was 12ish. Coors Light was the one that got me thinking that beer could be tolerable. Especially when paired with college drinking games and pretty girls. With my looks, it was mostly about the drinking games and beer though lol. Cheers!
