    Hello!

    I have been waiting to drink this beer for about six months, having read nothing but glowing reviews on this site and elsewhere.

    I assume, however, that I got the dud batch because this was one of the worst beers I've had - hugely acetic, with nail polish, crab apples and a burning, harsh acidity on the swallow. It's an expensive bottle that went down the drain after I'd drunk maybe a third of it.

    Here's some good old Aussie rock to make up for the bad beer.

    Sol..a simple beer. But tonight, all the memories band lost opportunity.
    Looking back at 60, happy to be here. But our culture has been degraded. Before you get upset..I ain't no traditionalist.. listening to John Prine and Billy Bragg from the early 90s. Speaking from the heart. We don't have that anymore....I think as a population we are so much dumber.

    Good morning BAs!, and Happy New Year! Starting the new year with one of my favorites - BCBS (2022):

    Bottled 9/27/22. Poured at 54°. Chocolate fudge and bourbon. I remember’22 as the best OG in the past several years, including this year’s. The bottle has held up well in my cellar, no oxidation…pure perfection!

    We stayed up past midnight eating pizza and drinking bubbles. My kid brother has today off and it appears he has chosen to sleep in…I’ve got biscuits in the oven and ham and eggs omelettes ready to make…

    It has been a great year with so much for which to give thanks, not the least of which is this site and all my beer friends. Thank you @Todd and the brethren. May 2025 bring everyone good health, happiness, and delicious beer! Cheers y’all!
