At the pre-game for the St. Cloud Craft Beer tour. A Bud rep got me a Chill City from Fulton Brewing.

 

Don’t think I have a Baltic Porter on hand, so this will have to do.

 

Love the Dead’s “Morning Dew.” Gonna have to give this version a couple more listens.

I had to run one errand today and oh yes snag some beer for the weekend. Not sure if this was a mistake but sitting on a shelf in central NH was this. Obviously had to purchase with a canning date of 12/22/24. Honestly these days I am more excited with the other 4 purchases, but still the OG and the bench in this style.

 

Pull Tabs from Blackstack Brewing. Got to keep both reps happy. Both beers are good pregame beers.

 

It's more along the lines of Jeff Beck's version from the Truth album. He does a nice job of it, Johnny A is an excellent player. Cheers!!

Today is my 77th birthday. Now I've gained a stroke toward shooting my age when I golf.

Preparing for Snowrmageddon 2025, a little snow and freeze gets Houston into PTSD mood ha. Anyway, with that said, it is a beautiful day out today, just waiting for the freeze to get here later (probably tomorrow or Monday).

So, out in the courtyard with beer, book and pupper. Lost Forty Twig Solera Table Beer is a great wild ale.



My pupper, Moe, got all excited when I was going out to the courtyard. Then he remembered he doesn't like it when it is below 80 degrees out, this lower 60's he hates...just wait till the freeze gets here and he won't go out at all ha. So, he came out for all of 10 minutes and back inside

Tree House: From Fields to Glass. Part of their 4-way competition between the head brewers. Only picked up this one in the series because of the hop combo. Citra, Cascade, and Nelson. Huge cantaloupe/honeydew melon vibes with this. Was canned yesterday so it’ll be interesting to see how it changes after a week or two. No hop burn, not green. Well executed

 

Happy Saturday, BAs. It’s a dreary day - weather wise - along the South Jersey Shore but perfect for a few pours at The Seed in Atlantic City. I’m starting with Fidens Sword, a DIPA collab with Fidens. Nelson Bliss, Krush, and Citra hops. As expected from these two brewers it’s seriously good stuff. Cheers!
